About World
Naked Bike Ride Sydney
The World Naked Bike Ride is a global movement. One day per year, in more than 70 cities around the world, there is a World Naked Bike Ride.
World Naked Bike Ride Sydney, is a protest for bike safety, body positivity, and the environment.
Our bodies are on display to remind people that we are just skin and bones, and vulnerable.
Our "bare as you dare" protest also seeks to ask car drivers the question:
"You fail to see me when I am clothed. Now that I am naked, can you see me now?"

Nudity During The Ride
The ride is "as bare as you dare". In previous years, Police have allowed bare bums but not genitals. Each person needs to make their own decision as to what they will wear.
During the 2025 World Naked Bike Ride Sydney, several riders were in different states of undress during the ride and Sydney Police did not arrest anyone.
We can make no guarantees as to what will be the response of Police to nudity during the ride if this was to occur. Each person must make his or her own independent decision as to what clothing will be worn during the ride.
